The Foundation Towards Dialogue is a non-governmental organisation established in 2012 that works on behalf of the Roma community in Poland and to build a more open, equal and multicultural society. The Foundation combines advocacy, educational and support activities, focusing on combating discrimination, strengthening the Roma community and increasing its visibility and agency.

The organisation’s mission is to support members of the Roma community through education on multiculturalism and anti-discrimination, as well as creating spaces for dialogue, cooperation and real social change. The Foundation operates at local, national and international levels. Among other things, it runs the Roma Community Centre in Warsaw and implements projects supporting children, women and entire families, including those with experience of migration and refugee status.

The Foundation’s key areas of activity include:

  • advocacy for human rights and equal treatment of the Roma community,
  • education and expert activities (training, research, publications),
  • direct support (legal, educational, social and integration-related),
  • building alliances and cross-sectoral cooperation.

The Foundation also acts as a think tank and partner for public institutions, international organisations and the private sector in the areas of combating anti-Gypsyism, social inclusion policies and intercultural education. Our activities contribute to strengthening the Roma community and building a society based on equality, respect and dialogue.
