Since 2016, the Emic Foundation has been supporting people on their journey towards a new life. We assist people with migration experience in taking their first steps and achieving independence in Poland, including through counselling, Polish language lessons and civic education. By independence, we mean, above all, socio-economic independence and integration into Polish society, particularly at a local level.
We strive to help ‘wisely’, think long-term and provide high-quality development support, tailored to the individual, diverse needs of our clients. By working with schools, institutions and businesses, we are transforming reality into a more supportive and mutually respectful society. We believe that integration will not happen on its own; it is a process requiring effort from all parties, which is why we participate in shaping local and national migration and integration policies.
The Emic Foundation is a public benefit organisation that continues the mission of the PAH Centre for Assistance to Refugees and Repatriates.
